The Two Questions About Google We Hear the Most

The two questions about Google that we hear the most are:

How do we get to the top of Google search results?

Summed up: A combination of optimized Google Ads and a high quality website will get you the results you're looking for!

Getting your website to the top of Google's search results involves a combination of strategies and ongoing efforts, which can include both Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Google Ads. These are the key components to improving your Google search rankings!

(And good news - we can take care of all of it for you!)

Keyword Research

Identify relevant keywords and phrases that your ideal customer would likely use when searching for your services and products.

Create Quality Content

High-quality, valuable, and unique content that addresses the needs of your target audience is vital. Use these keywords in a natural way, and include them in your titles, headings, and throughout your paragraphs.

Backend SEO

Optimize your meta titles, meta descriptions, URLs, and header tags. Your website needs to be well-structured for search engine crawlers!

Mobile Optimization

Make sure that your website is mobile-friendly because Google prioritizes mobile-first indexing.

Site Speed and Performance

Optimize images for website, keep videos to a minimum, and make sure your URL is secure.

Regular updates

Keep your website's content fresh and up-to-date to encourage search engine crawlers to revisit and re-index your site (this makes sure Google still thinks your website is relevant to searchers!)

Google Ads

We highly recommend pairing a high quality website with paid Google Ads to get the most out of your online presence. SEO is a long-term strategy, and Google Ads can help you get the results you're wanting faster!

It's important to note that this is not a step-by-step process on how to create a successful website. There are more tools that can be used to improve your search engine results, which our expert marketers use daily!

How long does it take until ads generate results?

Summed up: While there are multiple things that determine Google Ad results, we tell our clients an average of 3 months.

The first few hours to days

You can start to see some initial results shortly after launching your Google Ads campaign, such as impressions, clicks, and website traffic.

The first few weeks

A well optimized campaign can start seeing some conversions, such as form submissions and sales.

The first three months (Optimization Period)

It often takes up to three months to fully optimize a Google Ads campaign. During this time, you'll want to refine your keywords, ad copy, targeting options, and bid strategies to improve the ad performance, so you can lower your cost per conversion!

Depending on your goals, you could see results sooner than three months. If your goal is for more people to come to your website and to learn about your brand, you'll see results more quickly. But if you're focused on driving conversions and making sales, it will take longer.

Three to six months (Steady Growth)

Your campaign should continue to improve conversion rates as you make more data-driven adjustments.

Six months on (Long Term Results)

To maximize the benefits of your Google Ads, you should run your campaigns for six months or longer.

Google Ads is not a "set and forget" strategy. You have to monitor, analyze, and optimize your campaigns in order for them to produce the results you want!
